Important Update On Our Clinic Reopening

Dear Patients of Georgia Dental,

Our team wanted to reach out with a message of support and give you an update on re-opening, while we all navigate and overcome these new challenges together.

We recognize that our patients are eager to have our office re-open and that all
British Columbians have worked very hard to follow public health recommendations. On Friday, May 15th the Provincial Health Officer lifted the order that has been in place since March 16th allowing emergency dental services only. At that time we also received return to work protocols for healthcare professionals from WorksafeBC and guidelines from the College of Dental Surgeons.

What this means for our valued patients is that it will take us some time to before we can open our doors to you. Georgia Dental will be reviewing the protocols and guidelines and implementing any necessary policy and procedure changes including training. Our team at Georgia Dental is working hard at developing a plan to bring services back in a manner that is safe for you and our team. Things will look different when you come back to the office and we are working on these details, including ensuring we have sufficient supply of personal protective equipment and that we schedule our patients in a manner that allows for safe distancing.

We will be available for emergency care. This includes patients who have experienced trauma, uncontrollable pain, airway obstruction, or uncontrollable bleeding.

If you have an upcoming appointment, please continue to assume that it is postponed. Once we have prepared the office for your safe return, our team will contact patients to confirm or reschedule any existing upcoming appointments. We will also be in contact with those who had their appointments cancelled during our closure.

As always, we are available to you to help with any questions or concerns. You may reach us by email at info@georgiadental.ca or phone at (604) 684-7745.

Thank you all for taking the necessary precautions and doing everything you can to help make a difference in flattening the curve! By working together, we will find ways to move forward safety, soundly and collectively.

With wishes of good health,

The Team at Georgia Dental
